USA is a Constitutional Republic. Within it, "democracy" is a system of govern-ment representing strong powers for state sovereignty and limited powers for federal government. Roe v. Wade (abortion) should be a decision for states (closer to individual citizens) to make, rather than one determined at federal level. A majority of Montanans don't see abortion in the same light as bigger-populated states like NY, IL and PA.
Federal government is primarily responsible for national security. If it doesn't do its job, such as walling-off a dangerous border or eliminating energy indepen-dence (including XL Pipeline), then states have recourse under a "Constitutional Republic". Not a single Democrat (including Tester) voted to protect us against those wrongs. Legal Americans will have to do something about that at the ballot box. Likewise, when Biden tries, unconstitutionally, to pay-off student loan for some and not others, not a single Democrat stood-up against him.
Democrats give whole speeches and write op-eds without ever mentioning "Constitutional Republic". Without it, state sovereignty is left to the wolves! Repub-licans Gov. Gianforte, Sen. Daines and senatorial candidate Tim Sheehy, believe in Constitutional Republic, protecting Montanans for more than just preserving "democracy". It also preserves state sovereignty. Tester is not doing that for us!
